The Official Batting Cage of Christian Vázquez Red Sox Catcher
We are ecstatic to announce our partnership with MLB Boston Red Sox catcher Christian Vázquez, and be the official batting cage he chooses to practice in.
HIS CAREER
Christian Vázquez Red Sox Catcher's baseball career started in 2008, when he was selected by the Boston Red Sox in the ninth round of the draft. However, he did not make his MLB debut until July 2014. Shortly after his debut, in September, he hit his first MLB home run. Unfortunately, he missed the entire 2015 season due to a surgery, however he came back with a force in 2016, playing in 57 MLB games and 42 Triple-A games.
These numbers dramatically increased in the 2017 season, where Christian played in 99 MLB games, batting .290 and stealing 7 bases. In what was considered to be the best game of the 2017 season, Christian sent a ball soaring to drive three runs in, and capitalizing on a 12-10 comeback to defeat the Cleveland Indians. 2018 was a rollercoaster for this beloved catcher, as he ended up requiring surgery for a broken finger. Coming back from this injury, however, he rallied with his team and helped take the Boston Red Sox to a World Series win.
In 2019, Vázquez appeared in 138 MLB games, a record for him. He had impressive numbers, including 23 home runs! It was in this season that he was a finalist for the Rawlings Gold Glove Award, with a fielding percentage of .999, higher than any other catcher in the league. 2020 saw Christian batting a .283, and leading the MLB with 16 wild pitches caught.
With such an impressive career so far, we are thrilled to see what 2021 and future seasons have in store for this star! We are especially honored to partner with Christian Vázquez and be the official batting cage he chooses to practice in.
HIS CAGE -Christian Vázquez Red Sox Catcher
To become the best and to stay active in the offseason, players continue practicing and honing their skills. It’s never too early to start preparing for next season. The most convenient way to do this is to set up an inflatable batting cage at your own residence. Christian Vázquez knows this, and that’s why he’s chosen the best inflatable batting cage on the market – ours.
Our Inflatable Batting Cages are both durable and portable. We designed them with convenience in mind. Because our commercial-grade Inflatable Batting Cages are not made like bounce houses with continual blowing air, you can keep them up for days at a time. These heat-sealed batting cages inflate in just 10 minutes and once inflated, you simply replace the valve and turn off the pump. The heat seal means that you can leave it inflated for an hour or for several days if you’d like. Once done simply deflate, roll up and put away. These cages are made of top-quality materials and are very durable. This convenience has Christian Vázquez saying “Nobody can tell me I can’t hit today.”
Each batting cage is 20 feet long and you can easily add additional 20-foot sections to them to make a 60-foot or 80-foot tunnel as well. The Inflatable Batting Cage from Rude American USA is the answer for every organization that needs extra cage facilities or would like to bring their cage with them on the road, and for every individual who wants a quality practice experience at their own home.
